HP launches new PC after announcing the split of the computing unit
Hewlett-Packard has launched a new desktop a few days after announcing plans to separate or sell its personal computers.
The U.S. technology company called the new PC-named 'HP Compaq 8200 Elite All-in-One Business Desktop' - as the "first personal computer in one" aimed at corporate customers and the public sector.
HP announced last week it would spin off its PC unit-segment in which it is a world leader, as part of a series of moves to abandon the retail consumer market, which includes stop producing its new tablet.
The company has had problems in the desktop market, a sector of low-margin but high-income, because devices like the Apple iPhone has gained the favor of consumers.
