Apple designs a new 3D display

Apple registered a patent for its new 3D display

Apple is trying to improve their screens, and it has focused on three dimensions. The Cupertino company is investing in three dimensions and has registered a patent to improve 3D image.

This time the patent that Apple has been not appear to have applications for iPhone and iPhone handheld devices, which are often targeted by the innovation of the company. At least initially the new development would be more focused on a larger screens , like an iMac or a television.

This is an optimization of three-dimensional images. The content in this format would give a greater sense of reality. The process would be a 'multireproductor' screens.

Apple's patent explains that in a single device that eventually the screen users see reflected the image that will generate three other hidden screens , each of which with its own discrete graphics card. Thus each emit different fragments of the image that would generate about three dimensions achieved.

Needless to say, this system would not be necessary 3D glasses. The applications of this patent may refer to the field of television or the Mac OS X, maybe even over time may serve to IOS devices, although the latter option would be farther away.

Is not the first time the company researches in this field. In fact, as I recall from Patently Apple , Steve Jobs's relationship with Pixar Animation, the animation company was a pioneer in the images in three dimensions. The current CEO of Apple bought it in 1986 and provided a modernization drive, as well as a good investment, which would tell when the 3D technology began to emerge as applied to movies.
