Internet company Google on Tuesday released the initial version in the U.S. of its flight search service, called Flight Search and you compete to find the best airfares websites like Orbitz , Kayak and TripAdvisor.

Google entered the business of hiring and booking air travel in April when the U.S. authorities approved the purchase by $ 700 million from ITA Software, which developed the flight locator tool used by most airlines and sector.

This is just a first glance: the takeoff, not the final destination of the operation The goal was to incorporate air fares and routes to the results of a survey in your browser, which is possible today with Flight Search.

"It is a first step in the flight search that combines the expertise of ITA with Google technology," said Kourosh Gharachorloo, Director of Engineering at the California-based company said in a statement posted on the company blog.

From now on, every time a user performs a query on a trip, Google will offer in its options menu on the left side of the screen the ability to see the available flights in a comparative way and refine the search by date, duration of path or maximum amount you wish to pay.

The company said that its service gets "super-fast results" and lets you know when what days "are the least expensive" to make a specific trip through a tracking calendar.

"This is just a first glance: the takeoff, not the final destination," said Gharachorloo, noting that flight offer that appears on each search is still limited to a number of U.S. cities and only trip fares reflects back in coach.
