Twitter reaches 100 million users

40% was noted for information other than to publish.
Lady Gaga is the one who has more followers, followed by Justin Bieber and Obama.
The social network will provide service in Hindi, Filipino, Malaysian and Chinese.

The social network Twitter announced Thursday on her blog that already has 100 million active accounts in your short message service, which is internationally popular because of its public use to report on conflicts and disasters.

In the coming weeks, Twitter will present their service in Hindi, Filipino, Malaysian and Chinese simplified and traditional, bringing to 17 the number of languages in which it will be possible to make "tweeting."

The users are presidents of governments, athletes, famous entertainers and numerous experts , the company says 40% of users signed up Twitter to find out what happens in the world and to create their own publications.

Despite the disrepute that surrounded Twitter after birth five years ago, the system posts the web with a maximum of 140 characters confirmed as a useful social tool from the Iranian revolt in 2009.

Twitter again demonstrated its value for reporting on natural disasters that happened later in Haiti, Sumatra, Chile, New Zealand and Japan.

Users of Twitter are presidents of governments, athletes, entertainment celebrities and numerous experts in different disciplines.

Classification by number of followers in the social network is led by Lady Gaga , with more than 13 million, followed by Justin Bieber , with about 12.4 million, and Barack Obama , with nearly 10 million.

This year, Facebook , the leading online social network created in 2004, confirmed it had exceeded 750 million users.
